My first Zara acquisition

Hi girls
I can't wait to show you my very first Zara skirt I bought yesterday from DLF Promenade, Vasant Kunj. I searched my favorite store- Forever 21 then Forever New  but couldn't find a perfect fit and color as this one. How I love it :)

However, I am finding it a little hard to think of that perfect top to go with this. (Read: Perfect :D ); as I am planning to wear solid black stockings with them too!

As you can see, they are not netted :\ It would be all black.. So pls help help help!


And there is another thing for you :D
It was my faint attempt at Leopards.. No not in real.. but as leopard print is so much IN this season, I tried it now on my  nails.. Sorry for the poor quality picture. My camera boasts of 5mp and delivers only this much!


I used Avon Nail paints for these. I learnt it from a popular youtube girl named, Lindi. The video is at the end of my post.


I recently purchased the color of the season 'Fuschia' from Lakme, 251




She is an inspiration to a lot of young girls, including me. Hope you find her videos interesting.

My college is starting from tomorrow (hate hate), but I'll keep posting :)

My next post is about color blocking. Do check it :)

    Thank you Ashley.. Its not near my place too.. I had to travel 1.5hrs to get there.. totally worth the drive!
    Err.. Actually I'm thinking about ruffles or leopard printed lose top.. or something golden.. Lets see :)

    Congrats on your new Zara purchase! That skirt is fabulous! It would look great with a mustard yellow sweater since you're going with black tights. Can't wait to see how you style it!!

    omg i love this skirt! it looks perfect for summer or winter with tights! i agree, totally love the gold zip. hmmm maybe you could wear it with a black chiffon shirt and maybe some bright heels?

    You should wear some printed stocking. f21 and only have some great ones. solid black stockings look good too but the print will give a break between the leggings and the black skirt :)

    Zara is great and you picked a fantastic skirt! What's great about a black mini is you can pair it with virtually anything :)

    I love the skirt and Forever 21 is also one of my favorite stores (too bad we haven’t it in Romania). I think you can pretty much wear any top as the rest is going to be all black. If I were you I would go for a lace top or some crazy print top: animal print or maybe something floral; if you feel scandalous wear a sheer blouse and a leather jacket on top. Your blog is lovely and I'm a new follower! Hope you'll like my blog and follow back!
