Floral Frenzy

Hello Lovelies

I'm so excited to be back here.

As I mentioned on blog, today I'm going to announce something big but before that, new OOTD :D

Now this lovely floral blouse I received from DressLily.

It's no secret how big a fan I am, of floral prints but this blouse caught my attention as soon as I saw it on their website.

Three things I loved about this White floral blouse

--> It's White- White is my go-to color this season. I picked another white ensemble from Zara this weekend: would show in subsequent posts.

--> Subtle colors- Girls love pastels more than anything.

--> Not over the board- Now mostly we see prints that cover the entire clothing but this was reserved for one-third of the shirt and I loved it!

 

Paired it with a dark peach pair of pants from Madame.

 

Now I'm not one to remain subtle elsewhere. The result? Tangerine sling bag and moccasins.

This gorgeous Necklace is from Romwe and the cute blue bow elastic is from DressLily

Little Flowers: Romwe Leggings

Hello Everyone :) I hope you are doing great!

Today I'd like to introduce an absolutely brilliant website- Romwe

I adore leggings. I live in leggings. I always wish I had more leggings: colored ones, printed ones, stripey ones, long cozy woolly ones in winter, and shorter lightweight cotton ones in summer. I wear them under dresses or tunics, to gym and lounge, I sometimes sleep in them :P 

Romwe Women's Colorful Blooming Flowers Print Spandex leggings is a leggings for people who want to buy fabulous leggings. However, I believe a legging can’t make any customer disappointed because of their special design. I am very appreciative for the Romwe brand.

Nowadays, I can't stop wearing leggings at the moment. I used to be a skirt and dresses girl, I barely ever wore trousers. Whilst I'm still not a big jeans fan, leggings are definitely taking over my wardrobe. And not boring black ones, the more unusual the pattern, the better. The Romwe women’s colorful blooming flowers print spandex legging are leggings which I bought last days but I prefer cotton ones.

Do you find some leggings suitable for you as well? They can give your legs a perfect curve, what’s more, the more suitable the leggings, the more confident you are!

Florals & Orange

Hey Fellas ..

Sorry for the delayed post, my net wasn't working! :\ Now it is :D

July 9, 2012 --> We heard a knock at the door. My mother went to open it, didn't utter a word and came back SMILING!!!! Have never seen her smile so much. She handed a package to me and I understood what lay inside it- OASAP.COM Bag!!!!!!! :D :D She was dancing merrily! ahahha.. has this ever happened to you? ;)

So this bag is very special to me as my mother and I searched the website of oasap.com for hours looking for the perfect bag. Our search ended at this one! About the outfit ~ I was feeling colorful ( I know you must be thinking how can one Feel colorful): well that's me. I had to dig up these floral pants out of my closet as these are the only floral bottoms I own! Tell me, did you like the result? :)

DIY: Rose from a Ribbon

Hello my sweetypies.. How have you been?
My Exams are over for now.. Yipppeeee..

Thank you all of you for your kind and generous wishes while I was gone.. I can just say I love You all :)

As a token of my Love.. I'll do a DIY post today :)

All of us know that girls are super crazyyyyyyy.. ~ Heyyy.. In a good sense.. They are crazy about things they love and can go extra miles to make their loved ones happy :)

So today, I bring to you something that can help you make your gifts personalized and your dresses & accessories look even more worth-wearing.. Cos it has a touch of you :)

HOW TO MAKE A ROSE/FLOWER USING A RIBBON

You will need :

A ribbon (I have used a satin)
A florist's tape or a wire

Google

1. Keep the dull surface of the ribbon facing upwards- You can take any length depending upon how big you want your flower to be.


2. From the end, fold it at right angle and press to form a crease.

3. Now, keep on folding from the crease till you get something like a 'cone'. Make a crease.

4. Fold more, along the ribbon ( 2-3 folds), to cover the 'cone'.
If it's your first time in something creative then you can probably seal this step with a stapler so that it doesn't open up in the middle!

5 and 6. Continue folding if you're not satisfied with the thickness of the bud!

7 and 8. This is the tricky part- Hold the bud in one hand while the rest of the ribbon in the other. Frame shift the ribbon or leave a gap between bud and ribbon. (See the picture)

9. WIth your left heand just fold the ribbon at 45 degrees on the outside.

10. This picture shows you how the fold will look from the back.

11. Turn the rose a bit and then again fold the ribbon at 45 degrees on the outside..

12. Keep turning and rotating the rose.. IF you want a bigger flower.. turn-flip-turn-flip.

If a smaller flower then turn- flip-flip- turn-flip-flip..

See pictures 13. and 14.

NOTE: you can secure the flower at any point with a stapler!

15. Secure your flower by tying the rest of the ribbon around the stem.

16. I have tied the green Florist's tape or a wire!!

And voila! You are ready to wear it over your blazer, hat, bag, necklace or even headband.. Guess what, I used it on my heels.. See the below picture.. I used 2 colors for it.. Just stitched them together :)
