Hairstyles in Vogue: Part II

Hey Friends

Thank you for your kind wishes on my Birthday. It went great :) Pictures in the next post!

***

Remember my previous post: Hairstyles in Vogue Part I?
I got a huge response and so many repins on Pinterest :D So happy that you guys liked it :)

So in continuation.. Some of my very favorite Hairstyles.. Lemme know which ones you like <3

I can Eat this Hairstyle if I could cos 1. I love Food and 2. I love this Hairstyle. Do the Math! :P
This is the most fashionable hairstyle according to me. You can wear it neat for an elegant gala or messy for a casual day or just leave it in between for a party! :)

Here's my style!

If you're worried that your braid is not that thick then I suggest you try, Seek Hair Extensions. They are affordable and very thick.

Next is a Messy Bun!

It is the most convenient hairstyle to wear and you know our anthem, the messier, the better!

Do you remember how your mother used to do pigtails on your hair, with colorful ribbons and bows? Well, they are still in Vogue! Try braiding or let them loose. They are very cute and bring the country side charm :)

So? Which one is your favorite?

Let me know

Till then, don't forget to participate in my International Giveaway where you could win a bracelet.

The Myriad Blue Musings

Hello Lovely people!

I'm very excited to show this outfit because of two reasons:

1. I'm collaborating with the amazing IKNOW again. *See Last Post Here*
2. This is my First Printed Shirt ;)

A little about IKNOW

In their own words- IKNOW is the principal driver in fashion that brings unique designs and special interest to clothing. The core concept of IKNOW is they sell “High quality fashion clothing at affordable prices”

I couldn't agree more: their clothes are one of a kind.

About the outfit

I chose this shirt which comes in myriad of prints. You name the 'trending print' and it has it~ Floral, Bow, Stars, hearts and tiny polka dots; complementing each other beautifully. Elegantly dividing the shirt are two white panels running end to end with turned-up cuffs in white giving it the a neat finish.

The material was skin-happy (which I say for cotton) and the fit- an A+

Overall- A thumbs up from my side :)

I decided to set a blue tone look with a classic pair of blue denims, sequin blue wedges, blue geometric statement necklace and Fish-tail cum rolling stairway braid *what's that you say? Check out the pictures!*

Check out the outfit and lemme know what you think!

First DIY and I'm 50!

Bonjour :)
I am very excited to tell you that my blog has crossed the '50' landmark. Actually it's 60 and I'm late but still, yippee :D I want to thank all my lovely followers who have inspired me to stay connected and display my style to the best! Thank you :-*

Now, the 2nd reason to celebrate is that today, I'm gonna post my first DIY ( Do it yourself). This post has been lingering on for a while but not now. I will show you How to Fish-tail Braid.
I am sharing this post with one of my awesomest follower Frills & Thrills by Sam. I did a guest post for her. Isn't her blog amazing? I love it!

So lets get started <3
Make sure your hair is not in layers ( like me) and if they are then they should be of a considerable length.
You need : 2 rubber bands, comb and some fun tic-tacs.

1. For beginners, I'd recommend a side pony tail. Tie it tightly.

2. Divide and hold your hair into two equal parts, say A and B.

3. Now this step is crucial. Take a thin strand of your hair from the end of one of the halves, say A.
4. Move it to the other half of hair, i.e. B and make it tight.
 5. Now, take a thin strand of your hair from the end of the other half, B.
6. Take it to the first half, A.
You have your first Fish tail cross!

7. Similarly, take a thin strand of your hair from A move it to B.
8. Also, take a thin strand of your hair from B, move it to A.

Repeat the above steps till you reach the bottom of your hair.

Voila. Your cute Fish-tail braid is ready :)

You can decorate your hair with tic-tacs or cute rubber-bands

You have seen this picture in my post Black and Braid

I prefer a casual braid. If you want a firm and more elegant one then just make a space; a hole, in your hair: from the place where you started braiding. Take your braid from outside and then inside the hole. It would be tighter! Also, you could apply some hair spray to settle down small hair.

I hope you liked my First DIY. Suggestions to improve this post are most welcome.

I want to thank Sam for letting me do a guest post in her fabulous blog. <3

Keep visiting for more DIY nail tutorials :)
Don't forget to follow me on Facebook. You would find a like tab at the starting of the page left. I'd love to follow you there too :) Thank you <3

Until then
