Color Zombie

Hello Beautiful :)

There are several meanings to this word and yet just one message is received: Your soul attracts me. Before I go overtly romantic, let's get lost in the colors that you're gonna see in this post. You all know my love for mint but a very few know how much I detest Gold/golden. It doesn't look good on me (or so I feel); but the moment I saw this bracelet on Zaful, I HAD to HAVE it (is this correct English?. Nevermind; the bracelet looks so good on my hand that even if it's the only accessory I'm wearing, it completes me!

Next, these shades. So my old blog readers know my love for cat-eyed glasses back from my giveaway triumph. I'm not a very 'accessory' person so more often than not, you won't find any accessory on me. I know it might be a taboo in the blogging world and many you might find it weird but I like to keep it simple (boring, eh?) and only let my clothes & shoes define me. Sometimes when I'm in a really good mood then a charm necklace/earrings/bracelet comes along.

So when I found these cat-eyed glasses in leopard print, I knew I would wear them <not-very-often> but cherish them forever.

A special mention the the material of these glasses- The glass & frame quality is so good that my mom, who is usually skeptical about shopping from abroad, praised the brand and even called dibs on this one.

Years to LookBack

It's been 5 years since I've started blogging and the journey has been quite amazing. This isn't a 'blogging-has-taught-me-so-much' moment, although it did! But, I just wanted to look back at all the fabulous pictures and tried to recall the fun I had during the photoshoot. So in this post I'll be sharing the amazing moments and what I love about that outfit :)

Sit back and relax!

The first time I wore a lipstick. Gosh! I was so nervous as I know nothing about makeup, the right shade or even to wear one but, I did it anyway. It's about feeling good right? So I felt.

I did the basic white and black look here and completed it with two different accessories- a hat and a floral headband.

This was a very sunny day and I sort of regretted wearing those pants (not mine!) so I said to myself, 'Hey! Why not try something new' and so I tied my favorite scarf and voila!

You'd see this sling bag in so many posts. This is undoubtedly one of my favorite bags. It is stylish, light and so useful to carry on a day-out, date or a party.

I asked my friend who is a photographer, to click some nice pictures for my shopping haul. We went out to Carter road, Bandra and had a blast while shooting it; never-mind the sun!

My favorite thing about this outfit was the blue canvas shoes. They are my brother's but I gave a twist to it by going lace-less ;)

Goa is so much fun with friends! We danced to Lean On, partied under the stars, sun-bathed at Candolim beach and kept ourselves hydrated with watermelon & kiwi juices!

I finally found a reason to wear crop tops and my leather shorts (in India). I had worked so hard to prepare a toned body for Goa and the results were truly fruitful.

This outfit is again from Goa Diaries. The sun was upon us but hey, it's always great for photoshoots!

I hadn't wore this magnificent dress for like-ever. With my body in shape and at the right place, I took out my floral headband and let my hair down. It felt so airy and light in this piece of maxi-dress.

My last academic farewell was so emotional and fun-filled. Click on the picture above to read more :)

I'd have to say, I had not gained as much as eye-balls 'in college' as I did that day when I wore this nude-colored elegant piece of jumpsuit. My first, yes!

At last, the bidding goodbye to Mumbai pose. This picture was taken at Worli Sea Face. I loved everything about that day, the weather, fresh air and my natural waves.

I have to admit, I have so many blues but this kind of blue sets my mood high: such a paradox! This romper glides over my skin so well and the lacework is just so splendid.

I love to organize my photo albums with nice and customized designs. Look how I created my own lookbook for Social Print Studio's custom photo books.

Waiting for your views.

Never goes out of Fashion

There comes a time when you want to drop everything and relax, catch a breath, sip coffee, watch your favorite tv shows and engage in laughter with the people you love.

I am in such a state right now. I wanted to do those things which I loved before coming to Mumbai. When you're home, you're taken care of and can focus on yourself and things that make you happy. Here I do everything: right from cooking to laundry, studying to shopping. So it was essential for me to make a day plan for me the night before or early morning so that I can have 'Me' time everyday. I was so excited as things were going well ( getting fit, control on diet, positive thoughts..) that I decided to call up my friend (photographer) for a sunny day out. What better to feel good in than a basic white shirt and blue denims. It Never goes out of Fashion.

Hope you enjoy the pictures. P.S. I've planned a holiday Giveaway for you. Stay tuned for my next post.

What to wear with Palazzo Pants: Shorter Stature Girls

Hello Sweethearts

I'm back with a brand new Outfit post. So many this June :D and more to come

Here I'm shamefully admitting and wearing for the first time- Palazzo pants

For years I thought pants like these would make a short-stature me, a plump. But then I thought to myself, I'm a fashion blogger, I must use some tips and tricks to comfortably wear one and so I wore.

Tips on how to wear Palazzo pants- Shorter Stature

Choosing the right length of Palazzo pants

 1. Choose ones that end at or below ankles. Consider covering the ankles for leaner effect.
2. Choose solid colored over prints but if you must then try uniform prints like I'm wearing.

What to wear with Palazzo pants

1. Crop tops that end just above the midriff.
2. Do not wear tops & blouses over the pants as it would definitely make you look even shorter.
3. If crop tops are not your thing then pick a base color from the pants and wear them tucked inside the pants.
4. Layer if necessary.
5. High Heels for the high life ;)

Enough of the gyaan. It's show time!

Me getting irritated when brother was taking more time to click!

These are not your high-end chiffon Palazzo pants that are easier to pair with. These are made of pure COTTON. It took me a day to figure out what I'd wear with these and a white shirt is how far I could come. Then I realized I could do something with a stole I bought from Lajpat Nagar (INR 50) and voila- one shirt, belt, scarf and four hours later- this is me <<appearing tall>>

You would think I'd have stopped by now

Wearing: Palazzo pants: Red Orange, Lajpat Nagar, white shirt: Oasap, Mint heels: Chic Factor, Belt: Romwe, Stole:a thrift find, Lajpat Nagar

|| Red Ridding Hood ||

Hey Friends

My exams are on my head so I don't get enough time to visit your blogs or post here or on facebook. Apologies! :( But once they are over, I promise to be regular :)

Without further ado.. Here's the FIRST outfit post where I'm wearing MAKE-UP or a Lipstick per say ;)

There's no need to introduce the Fabulous Website- Choies. It's a Fashion website that sells inspirational and unique designer items ranging from clothes, shoes, jewelry and more.

What I like about Choies

- Unique items that I personally haven't seen on other websites (like most do)
- FREE SHIPPING~ This attracts most people who live across the globe.
- Earn points (via giveaways, surveys, shopping etc) and use them for your next purchase. How cool is that?

Now about the outfit

I'm wearing this beautiful Red Bowknot Hat, Hair Garland and sunglasses from none other than Choies. Nothing beaths Black and White combination than RED. So I chose to apply Viviana Lipstick (my first, a gift). Tossed this look with my favorite pair of black peep-toe pumps and polka dot bag.
